Networking is key to finding jobs. Often the job you are hired to do is something you didn’t know existed when you began looking. Luckily, Bucknell alumni are successful at making connections and contacts within companies. The Career Development Center and Alumni Relations have invested in technology that helps job seekers network with alumni and learn about new, cutting-edge careers.
Students
Using the Career Development Center will help boost opportunities to find a job while you are still in college. This is the only time in your life when a company will come to you and say, “Here are the jobs we have available, when are you ready to work, and are you interested?” Many employers simply want smart people, no matter what their major is.
